Man dies after crashing into motorway barrier near Wakefield
Police are investigating the crash, which happened on Sunday night (May 19)
A man has died after crashing into the central reservation of a motorway near Wakefield.
The man, who was in his 20s and from Huddersfield. smashed into the barrier after crossing lanes while coming up to the entrance slipway of junction 41 (Wakefield North).
It happened at around 20:25BST on Sunday 19 May.
Emergency services confirmed he died at the scene, and police are now asking to speak to anyone who saw a grey Ford Ranger travelling from junction 2 onwards.
The man has not been named.
