A man has been arrested over a spate of what police have described as 'violent robberies' in Leeds.

The 19-year-old is in custody following reports of six robberies in the city centre, following an appeal from police.

Officers released a video showing a man being repeatedly kicked and punched after having his phone taken while he was waiting for a taxi.
