Man appears in court over crash which killed mother and daughter in Leeds

A man has appeared in court charged over a crash which killed a mother and daughter as they walked to school in Leeds.

Justyna Hulboj, 27, and her four-year-old daughter Lena Czepczor were walking along Scott Hall Road in Sheepscar when they were hit by an Audi last January.

Two men were arrested at the time, and this month, charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

Hardeep Bhachu, 27 of Grant Row in Leeds, has been released on bail after appearing at Leeds Magistrates Court.

He will next appear at Leeds Crown Court on 27 June.

A second man, 35-year-old Jasskamal Riyat, of Buckstone Avenue in Leeds, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates on 12 June.
