Huddersfield Town have added two new faces in defence, with Sean Roughan and Joe Low joining from Lincoln City and Wycombe Wanderers respectively.

Sean has signed a three year deal with Town, with his contact at Sincil Bank expiring over the summer.

He plays at left back and played in the Imps lineup for every League One fixture last season.

Joe Low plays in central defence and has made 72 appearances for Wycombe over the past two seasons.

Speaking to the club website, Low said: “I have really thought about this move and after having multiple conversations with Lee (Grant) I knew that this was the right move for me for my development.

"I like to be front-footed and aggressive, and I think that can work really well here.

“Last season, being part of a squad that was fighting at the top of the table has given me that experience that I can bring here, because that is absolutely what we are going to be doing this season.

“I felt like this was the right step up in my career - this is where I can develop, which is something I am really passionate about, and this will help me become a better person and a better player.”

Sean Roughan added: “The manager, his backroom staff and people around the club made it feel like this was the best place for me to go.

“I want to push for promotion, and I think that from the first conversation that I had with the gaffer that was the main aim, and if I can develop on the path to promotion as well then that is a plus."
