Driver admits causing deaths of mum and 4-year-old child in Leeds
They were hit by a car whilst walking to school on Scott Hall Road
A man's pleaded guilty to causing the death of a mum and her 4-year-old daughter who were hit by a car while walking to school in Leeds.
Justyna Hulboj and Lena Czepczor were killed in the crash on Scott Hall Road on the morning of 16th January 2023.
Hardeep Bhachu, 27, from Grant Row in Leeds admitted two counts of causing death by dangerous driving at Leeds Crown Court this morning.
The driver of another car, Jasskamal Riyat, 35, of Buckstone Avenue in Leeds, pleaded not guilty to the same offences.
Riyat is due to stand trial on 6th January 2025.
