A giant portrait of Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has been unveiled on the roof of the city's Trinity shopping centre.

The picture of the German - which measures 21m by 14m - is a "good luck" message to the team ahead of Sunday's Championship play-off final against Southampton.

A win at Wembley on Sunday (May 26) will see Leeds return to the Premier League.

When asked about it at a press conference, Farke said he was "glad" he hadn't seen it and didn't like looking at his own face "too much".

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said: “This is a massive moment for the city and we want to show our support for the club and the fans with an equally big display.

“The Premier League is the pinnacle of English football, where a club as big and historic as Leeds United belongs.

It's been a rollercoaster of a season, and we wanted to give the club's devoted fans and hopefully the team an extra bit of support."
