Springer Spaniel Billy is preparing for his career with the force
A new Police dog is in training in West Yorkshire!
Billy is the latest recruit for the force and will do specialist searches.
A Police spokesperson said:
"Cutest new recruit! 🐶
"Meet Billy, our latest Police Detection Dog in training. Billy is a 12-week-old Springer Spaniel preparing for a fun-filled career with West Yorkshire Police. Taking on the specialist search course when he's a little bigger, he will support our officers in searches and investigations whilst on duty.
"Billy too was gifted to us by a generous working dog breeder, like brother Ralph, who you might remember from one of our previous posts. They look alike don't you think? Both equally as handsome if you ask us! 🐾"
