15 y/o dies crossing the road in Bradford
It happened on Bradford Road last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Bradford.
The collision happened on Bradford Road, Eccleshill, on Friday night (4th April) which resulted in the death of a teenager.
The incident took place at about 10.45pm on Bradford Road, near to the McDonalds restaurant when a black VW Golf GTI, which was travelling away from Five Lane Ends, was in collision with a pedestrian.
The 15-year-old male was crossing the carriageway when the collision took place.
Emergency services attended the scene and the teenager was taken to hospital for treatment with very serious injuries.
Sadly, he passed away shortly after midnight today (5th April).
The driver, a 35-year-old male who stopped at the scene, has been arrested on suspicion of offences including death by dangerous driving and a suspected drug driving offence.
He remains in police custody this morning.
