West Yorkshire Police launch appeal following sexual assault in Bradford

Police have launched an appeal for information and witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bradford.

Officers received reports of an incident that took place just after 5pm after a male suspect came up to the victim in a McDonalds on Ingleby Road on Thursday evening (May 23rd).

As the victim tried to go into a toilet cubicle in the women's toilets, the man entered the room and assaulted her.

Detectives have already began to support the victim as investigators opened their initial enquiries into the incident.

Now, officers from the Safeguarding Unit of Bradford District have appealed for anyone who has seen the man or has any information to get in touch as soon as possible.

Police also released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, and have asked anyone who recognises the man to reach out to officers.
