A police investigation is underway after a body was pulled from the water amid soaring temperatures in West Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called The Moorings off Doncaster Road in Wakefield at around 14:40BST on Monday (June 24).
In a brief statement, police confirmed: "Enquiries to establish identity and cause of death are currently ongoing and at an early stage."
