This summer in Taunton, there are plans for some form of 'Corgi Trail' to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Go Create made the announcement on their social media earlier this week.

They have described it as a 'fun nod' to Her Majesty's preferred dog breed.

The company say more details will be announced in the future.

Go Create are a charity and umbrella organisation for Somerset West and Taunton, whose aim is to promote the arts.

They partner with artists, local authorities, businesses, employers and arts organisations to transform Taunton’s arts offer.

On February 6, The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

Events and initiatives are taking place throughout the year to celebrate the anniversary, culminating in a four day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June.
