Seal pup rescued after it's adventurous trip to town centre
It's unknown how the seal was found under a car

A small seal that was mysteriously found near Grimsby town centre, has been rescued by Humberside Police and Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue earlier this morning (13 January).
The local charity indicated that the seal pup may have gotten into the situation by travelling a long way down the River Freshney.
The wildlife group has taken it to Mablethorpe seal sanctuary and is reportedly safe and well.
Wildlife volunteers in Grimsby are trying to work out how the seal came to be found in the centre of the town.
It did not appear to be injured during the random adventure, but it is now going to be looked after by professionals long term.
Earlier this morning, a spokesperson for Humberside Police said:
âThis morning, we received a report of a seal near the town centre.
âUnfortunately, the seal didnât want to hang around, resulting in one of our slower pursuits.
âHappily, a local charity were able to help out and took our unofficial mascot to a Skegness sanctuary.â
'Now seal, how did you end up here?'
A spokesperson for Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue also said:
âWe was called to Grimsby town centre by Humberside Police at 03:44 this morning for a small seal outside the new Wilkin and Chapman building!
âHow it managed to find its way to this location is a complete mystery but itâs lucky that it was the police who had spotted it!"
On their Facebook page, the wildlife rescue group said: "Now seal, how did you end up here?"
