He spent the last few decades hunting down bad guys in films, but now actor Hugh Jackman is hunting down the owner of a missing hat in London!

The star of The Greatest Showman and Wolverine was mistakenly given the item when he picked up his laundry in Chiswick.

The Frozen hat, which features Elsa, Anna and Olaf, was among the items of washing returned to him.

But Jackman refuses to 'Let it Go', in a video on twitter he urged the owner to contact him and he would try to get the hat back to them.

Many fans were quick to suggest that maybe the real story was that Hugh actually owned the cap himself!

1995: Hugh is offered a role on Corelli

He must be one of the very few Australian actors to have actually turned down the chance to star on Neighbours, but Hugh was offered a role for the soap. Fans of Hugh seem to forget this dark period of time when he had -gulp- LONG HAIR. Nothing against long hair, of course, but it just wasn't a great look for our Hugh.
