Funeral of Holly Newton takes place today
A service celebrating the 15 year old will be held at Hexham Abbey on Friday, February 17 at 11am.

The funeral of 15 year old Holly Newton will take place at Hexham Abbey this morning.
The teenager was fatally stabbed in the Priestpopple area of the town.
Hundreds gathered at a vigil for her by the abbey earlier this month, where flowers and candles were left by the bandstand in the park.
A 16-year-old boy - who we can’t name for legal reasons - has been charged with her murder and will appear in court on 27th February.
A service, starting at 11am, will be followed by a private interment and wake.
