Two people are in hospital after an airplane crash in North Yorkshire.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the collision involving the aircraft just after 5.10pm yesterday evening (Thursday 11th April) in Church Fenton.

Both of the plane’s occupants, two men in their 70s, are now being treated for their injuries.

Police say an investigation into what happened will be carried out 'in due course'.
