Family pay tribute to man after Thornaby crash

A family has paid tribute to a man who died following a collision in Thornaby on the evening of Wednesday 2nd April.

The family of Scott “Dotty” Gordon, aged 36, from Thornaby, today paid tribute to a “loving son, dad and partner.”

The incident took place around 7:25pm on Mitchell Avenue involving a motorbike which collided with a lamppost and Scott sadly passed away at the scene.

The force say their thoughts remain with Scott’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

Enquiries are ongoing in relation to the collision and any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have doorbell or dashcam footage, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 057831
