Family of Thornaby toddler pay tribute

The family of a toddler, who died after an incident in Thornaby earlier this month, are paying tribute to her

A two year old girl, who died after an incident in Thornaby earlier this month, has been named by police.

Emergency services were called out to Hartington close on Saturday the 13th of September - where the little girl was taken to hospita, but died there later.

In a statement, her family said: “Rest in peace Isabelle, fly high little girl. Forever two.”

Specialist officers are supporting the family and our thoughts remain with them at this very difficult time.

A 25-year-old woman has been charged with murder and causing/allowing the death of a child and a 21-year-old man has been charged with rape, murder and causing/allowing the death of a child.

They appeared in court on Friday 19th September and were remanded in custody until their next appearance at Teesside Crown Court on Thursday 6th November.
