Police are appealing for information following a stabbing in Stockton.

Officers were called to Norton Road at around 11.30pm on Friday (17th January) after reports of a stabbing near to Windmill Terrace.

A 39-year-old local man was taken to North Tees General Hospital with injuries to his stomach, hands and leg.

Officers have been conducting house-to-house enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation.
