Photos released of people wanted in connection with Hartlepool disorder

Cleveland Police has issued images of people wanted in connection to the disorder that broke out in Hartlepool last month.

The images of the seven men, one woman and three juveniles are from footage taken on Wednesday 31 July.

As part of the force’s investigation, detectives are seeking to identify all the people in the photographs.

Detective Inspector Chris Pringle, leading the investigation for the disorder in Hartlepool, said:

“Our determination to identify and detain all those suspected of causing serious violence and disorder in Hartlepool has not wavered.

“We have already identified and arrested numerous people as a result of members of the public getting in touch to report information or the individuals handing themselves into police.

“We’re hoping to continue with this positive streak as we release a further eleven images of individuals, we are keen to speak to.

“I want to encourage anyone who knows the people in the photographs to please get in touch as soon as possible – the same goes for those who appear in the images.”

So far, the investigation team has put 17 people before the court including five men who were recently sentenced to a total of 10 years for their part in the disorder.
