Tonight is the night where we will find out who will win the Eurovision Song Contest.

26 countries are battling it out in Basel, Switzerland.

Remember Monday will be flying the flag for the UK this year with their song 'What The Hell Just Happened?'

Hartlepool's Michael Rice represented in the UK at Eurovision in 2019 and he said: "I'm sure the girls would be feeling really nervous, just like I was, but also they'll be with the best team and they'll be surrounded by lots of love, the Eurovision fans, the whole community will be backing them and the whole lf the UK. I'm sure they'll absolutely knock it out the park and I know they're just going to slay. The girls are going to be amazing.

"I hope the girls are giving it all they've got on that stage. I think it all comes down to three minutes and all the preparations and all the build-up towards it, it all comes down to that moment on stage and I just hope that the girls give it everything they've got, light that fire in their belly and give it everything."

Charley Currey is a Durham University student and said: "Exams started this week so we're all taking it quite chill. It'll be a nice sit-down watch party with a drink or two and just enjoy the vibes and enjoy the music.

"I want Switzerland to win but I'm also really hoping for Albania. It's an incredible song."

Josh Barrett is part of the Durham Eurovision Society and he said: "We're going to be watching at one of the college bars and then we also have one of the club night afterwards which they've agreed to play Eurovision songs for us which will be really fun.

"The live vocals of Remember Monday would be better than previous years but I'm not sure personally about the song. It kind of sounds like they're trying to do the Chappell Roan thing but not really very well, but I do think it's an OK song. Hopefully, fingers crossed, we're not going to come last in the final this time."

"I think the countries that are more likely to win are Austria, Sweden, Finland or maybe Switzerland again."
