Police name suspect in Eston murder investigation as enquiries continue

Police have named a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man in Eston.

Cleveland Police have named Andrew Clark as someone they wish to speak to in connection with the death of a 34-year-old man on Thursday (November 21st).

The man had been attacked as he walked along Lealholm Walk in Eston and was transported to James Cook University Hospital for medical treatment, but was sadly pronounced dead.

Investigators have now named Clark as a person of interest and would like to speak to him, as well as appealing to those who know him to put him in touch with officers.

He has been described as a white male, who is 5' 10 tall, of medium build with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Speaking on the case, Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Robinson from the force said: “As we continue with our investigation, we are keen to speak to Andrew as he may be able to assist with our enquiries.

“We are committed to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice, along with anyone else believed to be assisting them in evading capture.

“Our officers will remain in the area conducting high-visibility patrols to reassure the community and anyone with concerns is urged to approach our one of our officers or call 101.”
