Today is expected to be the busiest day on the roads in Teesside across the whole festive period.
The A19 and A66 are expected to be particularly jammed as many finish work and children break up for school.

Christopher Wood is from the AA and he said: "Especially around 5pm we're expecting to see roughly 23.7 million drivers on the roads. A record high of drivers that we're actually going to be seeing, or what we've seen at the AA.
"People are leaving to go home for the festive period, we're also going to be seeing people travelling across the country to see family and friends and going out to do last minute shopping as well.
"Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time, so whatever time your normal route would take, we're saying to add 15-20 minutes on top of that so you're not rushing or panicking. We want everyone to get to where they're going to as safe as possible."
