Appeal following collision in Hartlepool involving car and e-bike

The passenger of the bike is in a serious condition in hospital

Cleveland Police is appealing for information and any dash cam footage following a collision in Hartlepool involving a vehicle and an electric bike.

The collision occurred at around 10.30pm on Thursday 8th August on the junction of Challoner Road and Raby Road in Hartlepool and involved a Ford Ka and a black Surron e-bike.

The rider of the bike was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The passenger of the bike suffered serious injuries and is in a serious condition in hospital.

Officers are urging anyone with information or any relevant dash cam to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 152092.
