Despite the drizzle, the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the thousands of runners and cheering crowds.

We saw families, friends, and runners of all ages pushing through, showing that the Great North Run isn’t just a race – it’s a celebration! And Hits Radio was there to catch every smile, every cheer, and yes, even a few emotional tears.
