Police appeal for witnesses following serious collision in Fleet

A man in his 80s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, following a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Fleet.

Hampshire Police were called to Reading Road North at 9:42am this morning.

The road remains closed whilst enquiries are carried out at the scene and it's expect the road to remain closed for a number of hours, residents are being asked avoid the area wherever possible.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 0397 of today’s date (April 21st).
