Two men have been arrested and charged in London in connection with drug dealing in Ipswich.

Officers from the Met Police made the arrests in the Barking area yesterday on behalf of Suffolk Police.

Both were subsequently brought to Suffolk for questioning on suspicion of being involved in the sale of cocaine and heroin in Ipswich.

Ebony Anyanwu, 21, of London Road in Barking was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation

Zouave Gooden, 19, of Mansted Gardens in Romford was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation, possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon - namely a zombie knife.

Both have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Ipswich Magistrates Court today.

The arrests were made as part of Operation Orochi, a joint effort between the Met Police and Suffolk Constabulary to tackle 'county lines' drug dealing between Ipswich and the capital.
