A new online portal has been launched for council tenants in East Suffolk to manage payments, request repairs and book appointments.

The 'myHome East Suffolk' portal is now available and allows people to review services without the need to contact the authority's Housing Team.

Tenants must have a My East Suffolk account to use the portal, where they will then be able to access or change details about their tenancy, check rent charges and details of payments, set up direct debits, request repairs and more.

Councillor Richard Kerry, East Suffolk's Cabinet Member for Housing, said: "myHome is an exciting new service which puts tenants in control of their tenancy and means they can resolve any problems quickly and easily, without the need to contact our Housing Team, and at a time to suit them.

"We will be working with tenants to help them sign up to the service and our Housing Team will remain available to answer queries and help those tenants who may be unable to use the system."

Tenants can register by visiting my.eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
