Police launch appeal after £5000 of tools stolen during Suffolk Show

Power and hand tools belonging to a show worker were taken

Police are appealing for witnesses after £5000 of tools was stolen from a vehicle during the Suffolk Show.

It happened in the Bucklesham Road car park some time between 8am and 8pm on Wednesday 31 May.

The silver Nissan Navara pick-up truck belonged to a show worker, who returned to find the rear boot door lock mechanism damaged and items including £5,000 of power tools and hand tools missing.

Police are now urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
