Police appeal after woman sexually assaulted in Felixstowe home
Extra patrols are being carried out in the town today
Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Felixstowe earlier this week.
The victim was found at around 11:15am on Tuesday (June 6) on the floor of a home in the Granville Road area.
An unknown man is alleged to hae entered the property before launching the attack.
Officers are trying to trace a white man, possible aged in his 20s, who spoke with a local accent.
He was mainly wearing black or dark-coloured clothing.
The victim is now being supported by specially trained officers, while extra patrols are being carried out in the town today.
Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone who saw anything suspicious between 9am and midday on June 6.
