Person dies after being hit by train near Bury St Edmunds

A person's died after being hit by a train near Bury St Edmunds.

British Transport Police were called to Kennett Railway Station at 1pm this afternoon, with a casualty being pronounced dead at the scene.

There's ongoing disruption to rail services between Ipswich and Ely.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
