Pedestrian dies in crash on A11 near Newmarket
The woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the scene
Police have launched an investigation after a pedestrian was hit by a car and killed on the A11 near Newmarket over the weekend.
The woman, in her 30s, was hit by a red Jaguar XF near Six Mile Bottom at around 10:40pm on Saturday night.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, remained at the scene and is helping police.
Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the collision to get in touch.
