Lowestoft woman jailed for seven years after stabbing left man with life threatening injuries
It comes after an assault in Raglan Street in December 2021

A Lowestoft woman has been jailed for seven years after a stabbing two years ago, which left a man with life threatening injuries.
A man in his 30s was attacked in the Raglan Street area of the town on the evening of December 15 2021.
He was treated in hospital for serious injuries.
Claire Burgess, 37, of London Road South, was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday (September 1).
Burgess was arrested in Lowestoft in February 2022 on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
She was later charged with wounding with intent.
Detective Sergeant Kevyn Durrant, of Suffolk Contabulary said: “I am pleased to see Burgess has been given a long custodial sentence for this attack.
“Her actions in carrying and using a knife could have so easily been fatal for the victim.
“I’d like to thank the witnesses who assisted in the case for their support to get this result and the medical staff that treated the victim."
