Lowestoft man in court charged with string of burglaries

Items including jewellery were taken during break-ins

A man's appeared in court charged with a string of burglaries in Lowestoft.

46 year old Wally Allgood, of London South Road, Lowestoft, was arrested on Friday last week (12 May).

He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning and then charged with multiple offences: burglary of a property on Bryony Close, Lowestoft on 22 April, where a jewellery box was stolen; burglary of a property on Princes Walk on 8 April, where a ring, bracelets, jewellery and earrings were taken; burglary at a property on Blackheath Road on 9 May, and a burglary at a property on Carlton Road on 29 April.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates on Saturday.
