Latitude Festival announces star-studded 20th Anniversary line-up for 2026
The festival is marking two decades of eclectic, genre-blending performances
Latitude Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary next summer with a landmark line-up headlined by David Byrne, Lewis Capaldi, and Teddy Swims.
The festival returns to Henham Park, Suffolk, from 23–26 July 2026, marking two decades of eclectic, genre-blending performances and fearless creativity.
Among the first wave of acts announced are The Flaming Lips, The Last Dinner Party, Self Esteem, Tom Grennan, Wet Leg, Billy Ocean, Alex James’ Britpop Classical, Vanessa Carlton, English Teacher, Kevin Morby, Dry Cleaning, and Alice Phoebe Lou.
Festival founder and director Melvin Benn said the 20th edition will honour Latitude’s roots as a cultural melting pot that blends music, theatre, literature, dance and discovery.
“Twenty years of Latitude feels like both a moment and a lifetime,” Benn said. “This first line-up announcement celebrates everything Latitude has always stood for: fearless programming, artistic ambition, and that magical collision between discovery and legacy.
“With David Byrne playing an exclusive festival set, Teddy Swims bringing his soulful energy, and Lewis Capaldi returning after his courageous journey, this lineup tells the story of where we've been and where we're going.”
David Byrne’s appearance will be a UK festival exclusive, bringing the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s visionary artistry to Henham Park for a headline show blending music, dance and visual storytelling.
“Really looking forward to this,” Byrne said. “A wide-ranging festival, and well curated. A great day in the country.”
Lewis Capaldi returns to Latitude after stepping back from touring in 2023, marking a major comeback for the Scottish singer-songwriter who last headlined the festival in 2022. His performance is expected to be one of the most emotional of the weekend.
Meanwhile, Teddy Swims brings his blend of R&B, pop and country back to Suffolk following his breakout success with hits Lose Control and The Door.
“Twenty years of this festival is an incredible milestone,” Swims said. “The thought of standing on the Obelisk Stage under open skies with all of you gives me chills.”
Other highlights include The Flaming Lips, known for their kaleidoscopic live shows, and The Last Dinner Party, fresh from a Mercury Prize win and new album From the Pyre. Self Esteem, Tom Grennan, and Wet Leg will also make notable returns, alongside orchestral project Alex James’ Britpop Classical, reimagining '90s anthems with full symphonic grandeur.
Legendary soul artist Billy Ocean will deliver a hit-packed set of timeless classics, while Vanessa Carlton is set to lead a festival-wide singalong with A Thousand Miles. The bill also features English Teacher, Dry Cleaning, Kevin Morby, Alice Phoebe Lou, and a host of rising talents including Florence Road, Getdown Services, Just Mustard, Keo, and Westside Cowboy.
As ever, Latitude’s 20th edition will go far beyond its main stages. The festival’s renowned comedy, theatre, literature, poetry, and science programmes will be announced in the coming months, promising a deep dive into the cultural, political and artistic moments that have defined the past two decades.
“Latitude has never been just about music,” Benn added. “This year’s programme will reflect on the extraordinary twenty years we’ve shared — culturally, politically, and socially.”
