Suffolk foal named to mark Star Wars day birthday and Ipswich's Premier League promotion
Ipswich were promoted the day he was born
A Suffolk farm's taken inspiration from a couple of unusual places to name its new Suffolk Punch Foal.
Born on Saturday 4th May, Easton Farm Park near Woodbridge have named him Jedi John - to mark his birthday on Star Wars Day.
They then picked John in honour of former Ipswich Town chairman John Kerr - who also founded the farm - as a nod to Ipswich Town's promotion to the Premier League, which also came on Saturday.
In a post on social media, the farm said they were 'so pleased' to announce Jedi John's arrival, confirming he's happy and 'healthy'.
