The East is the name capital of Holly and Harry

Parents in East Anglia are more likely to choose the names Holly or Harry for their children than in any other region in the UK.

That's according to new analysis from the Office for National Statistics which has been released today.

The ONS has revealed the 'children's name capitals'.

For instance you're more likely to meet a William or a Charlotte in the South West, but if you went to the East Midlands it would be Oscar or an Isla.

In London you're most likely to find an Alexander or Isabella, while the West Midlands has the highest concentration of Muhammed's in the UK.

For girls their the most popular choice is Maisie.

In Wales it's Dylan and Megan, Olivia and Thomas in the North West, Jack and Emily in the North East, and in Yorkshire it's Charlie or Evie.

Finally in Scotland you're most likely to find a Lewis or Sophie, while in Northern Ireland it's James or Grace.
