Four men, aged 51, 44, 30 and 29, arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man at a lorry park in Felixstowe have been released under investigation.

Police were contacted by the ambulance service at 1.50am on Sunday 17th October, reporting they'd been called to reports of a man needing urgent medical assistance at the Hodgkinson Road lorry park.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man, aged 36, died at the scene.

Police say his family have been notified and continue to be updated on the inquiry.

A Home Office Post Mortem examination was not able to establish a cause of death, with further tests now needed.

The police investigation into the death and the man’s final movements is continuing, but officers are treating it as an isolated incident and do not believe there is any wider threat to the local community.

Detectives are continuing appeal for anyone who was in the vicinity of the lorry park on Hodgkinson Road and Dock Gate Two, between midnight and 3am yesterday morning to make contact and assist the enquiry.

Motorists who were driving in the area between midnight and 3am with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, are asked to review their footage and contact police if any people are seen.
