Brandon Station fully re-opens after platform closed over safety fears
The Norwich-bound platform was temporarily closed last month because of concerns over the state of a building next to the track
A north Suffolk station has fully reopened after being partially closed last month due to safety concerns.
The eastbound platform at Brandon had to be shut because of fears a derelict station building close to the track may collapse.
A bus replacement service had been picking passengers up from the station since March 1.
Work's now been completed to make the area safe, meaning trains heading towards Norwich can now call at the station once again.
Last month campaign group SAVE Britain's Heritage said it would send a specialist engineer to work out ways to save the structure.
The campaign group were involved in getting the historic building, which dates back to 1845, a Grade II listing two years ago.
