Part of Brandon Country Park destroyed in forest fire

Parts of Brandon Country Park have been destroyed after a forest fire.

Firefighters well called to the park just around 12:40pm yesterday (Monday 20th May 2024) to reports around 10,000 square metres of undergrowth and trees were alight.

Crews from Thetford, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket helped put the fire out.
