Appeal launched after suspected arson incident

Suffolk police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an incident of suspected arson in Bury St Edmunds.

Officers were called at just before 11am on Saturday to reports of a suspected arson at the former Moreton Hall Preparatory School on Mount Road.

Fire and ambulance services were also called to the scene.

Mount Road was closed at 11.20am but has since reopened at 12.45pm.
