Two crashes on A14 in Suffolk

Two crashes on the A14 in Suffolk caused serious disruption this morning (16 September)
Police were called to the first at 8.35am when a van and three cars collided on the eastbound carriageway at the Whitehouse Interchange.
The ambulance service was called but officers say it was stood down as there were only minor injuries.
Highways also attended that scene due to an oil spill on the road.
All cars have since been recovered and the road was clear by 11.21am.
A second crash was reported at 9.36am, between J58 Seven Hills and J59 Kirton Road at Trimley St Martin near Kirton.
A lorry and a number of other vehicles were involved and the lorry lost some of its load.
The ambulance service says they sent three crews to the scene and have transported three people to Ipswich hospital for treatment.
Police say the road was clear by midday.
