The family of a man who died following a crash on the A14 near Stowmarket say he will be 'sorely missed'.

61-year-old John Vincent, from Ipswich, was involved in a crash with a lorry parked in a layby late on the 20th of February and declared dead at the scene.

It happened just after 11.40pm on the westbound carriageway of the A14 between Stowmarket and Haughley.

His family have now released a tribute through Suffolk Police:

"To a loving father, brother and grandad who will be sorely missed for all the joy and laughter you brought into everybody's lives.

“You will be missed greatly by all who knew you. Rest in peace you will never be forgotten.

“We love you.

“RIP John William Vincent.”

Officers are still looking to hear from anyone who saw the crash or has relevant dashcam footage.
