This Valentine's weekend, we celebrated love by hosting marriage proposals live on the radio!
Hear the amazing moments people shared their romantic stories and proposed to their partners:
Take a look at who got engaged on Saturday:
Lewis & Leigh
Lewis and Let when they were very young and made it official just over a decade ago. They have children together and Lewis described her as his "best friend, soul mate and everything in one."
He said, "It's been a bit rough the last few years for us and with the baby's diagnosis. There is a new start now, a new chapter. I told you I loved you over the radio in 2010 so I just want to say, Will you marry me?"
Russell & Jane
Russell was incredibly nervous proposing to Jane. The pair met in 2018 and bonded over their love of motorbikes feeling a spark from the beginning.
Russell said, "I hope you know that I love you from the bottom of my heart, with you I can just be who I am, but equally you make me want to be a better man. You're a kind, caring, passionate and intelligent woman who has opened my eyes to living and for that I thank you. I'd like to spend my days with you and grow old disgracefully with our bikes. You really are my soul mate so, would you do the honour of marrying me?
Linda & Mark
Linda proposed to Mark!
They have been together since they were 12 years-old and after a series of break-ups, the pair made it official when Linda was 21.
Linda and Mark are already married but Linda wants to renew their vows. Mark has a condition called spinal muscular atrophy and was given two to three years to live a couple of years ago.
Linda said, "You're my best friend in the world. It's been hard for us lately with illnesses and whatever, so will you renew our vows with me?"
The couples that got engaged on Sunday:
Connor & Tia
Tia and Connor are already engaged, but Connor wanted to surprise his fiancé to tell her that he has organised their wedding for next July. The pair were in school together, have a child together and another on the way!
He said, "I have a question for you. Will you join me and our family and our friends on 1st July for our wedding?"
