Catch her every Sunday, from 7pm!
Last updated 8th Nov 2024
We're super excited to have singer, songwriter, actress and TV personality Kimberly Wyatt joining Hits Radio as the new host of our Sunday night show; The Hits Radio Throwback. Airing every Sunday from 7pm, Kimberly will bring you three hours of music, fun and stories, taking listeners back to special moments and memories from the noughties.
The Grammy nominee rose to fame as a member of one of pop music’s biggest ever girl bands, The Pussycat Dolls, before finding further success as a solo artist. She’s sold 15million albums and 40 million singles worldwide thanks to the success of pop hits including 'Don’t Cha' and 'When I Grow Up'.
Kimberly's dancing background has also lead her to her role as head judge on Sky One’s Got to Dance as well as choreographing West End shows and working on CBBC’s The Next Step. In 2015 she was crowned winner of Celebrity Masterchef and in 2022 appeared on ITV1’s Dancing on Ice.
Kimberly joined Fleur East on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show on Thursday to share the news, saying: "The cat is finally out of the bag! It’s so awesome to be part of the family… I’m so excited it’s like a new little adventure. I’ve been DJing for quite some time but to be able to spend some time with everybody on a Sunday and play some of my favourite tunes — I’m really looking forward to it.
"There’ll be a little bit of PCD (Pussycat Dolls) of course, but lots of Noughties, lots of hits – keep it fun for a Sunday! I’ll be bringing music, fun, stories… Music takes you back to moments and memories, so to live in that again and share some of that will be fun."
