"I love chatting to people whilst they’re going about their daily lives or cracking on at work so come and let me know what’s going on in your world.

What’s Hattie's favourite thing about presenting her radio show?
Hattie told us how giving away "bucket loads" of money and "changing peoples' lives" was her favourite thing! She told us: "It’s such a mad and magical moment. I get butterflies before making the call as you never know what’s going to happen, I always just hope the person on the other end of the phone remembers how to play the game and we get a winner. There’s no better feeling!"
When did she first start out in radio?
"I volunteered at a radio station in Senegal reading the news in French after I finished school. I then went on to do student radio at uni in Manchester - Fuse FM. "
What made Hattie decide to switch to radio?
"I didn’t wanna work in a chip shop all my life, like I did when I was 14!"
What's the most heartwarming or touching interaction you've had with a listener?
"The moment an elderly chap called John won Cash Register! When I asked him what he’d do with the money he explained that he’d buy a headstone for his late wife, Anita who he’d been visiting every day since she passed but hadn’t been able to afford the headstone.
"It was a really emotional interaction. It’s moments like that you realise that winning really can, and does, have such a positive impact on peoples’ future. The reel went viral - if you haven’t seen it then you need to - just grab yourself a tissue first!"
Tissues at the ready, you can watch the emotional clip below...
What is her go-to hit to listen to in the car?
It was short and simple for Hattie - who told us: "Anything by Spice Girls!"
What do the biggest hits sound like to Hattie Pearson?
"I’m a big 90s fan and will unashamedly admit that I love all the big female artists and bands from that era - whether it’s Britney, Billie Piper, B*Witched but also cannot get enough of 00s R’n’B and current house/dance music too! "
Who doesn't love a bit of Britney Spears?!
What’s her ultimate throwback song?
"Major Lazor - 'Lean On'. I saw them live at Ibiza Rocks in 2016 and it was one of the best gigs ever.
"Whenever I play this track on the radio or it comes on my running playlist it just takes me right back to dancing in the sun with my mates having the time of my life!"
Listen to Major Lazer & DJ Snake's 'Lean On' feat. MØ:
What's one of Hattie's favourite interviews she's done?
She told us: "Mr Motivator. He’s just one big ball of energy and has so many great stories to tell. His fashion sense is so retro but also timeless - not many folk would be able to pull off what he wears but he wears it with such style. You can’t not be happy around him! "
As well as presenting on Hits Radio, what is she up to now?
"This year has been all about triathlons! I’m training for my first Ironman event. I’ll swim 2.4 miles in the sea, get on my bike and cycle 112 miles, then run a marathon of 26.2 miles in Barcelona. I’ve put so many hours of graft in and now I’m excited to do it so I can have a nice long lie down!"
Since we caught up with Hattie, we're proud to say she completed her Ironman event! She celebrated the incredible achievement on her socials, writing: '🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️I AM AN IRON(WO)MAN 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
'3.8km sea swim👙 180km bike🚲 42.2km run 👟 🏆completed it'. (sic)
