Comedian Harry Hill joined hosts Angellica Bell and James Barr on Hits Radio revealing some behind-the-scenes secrets from his hit TV shows You've Been Framed and TV Burps.

The TV presenter, who hosted those popular TV shows for many years also told us about the cancellation of You've Been Framed and how it took two YEARS for viewers to realise it had been axed!

"You’ve Been Framed was actually cancelled in 2020," Harry told a surprised Angellica and James. "It just took two years for anyone to notice because all the episodes of You’ve Been Framed are pretty much the same!"

Harry then went on shock us by revealing that not everything was as it seemed with the videos on the popular TV show. As viewers will know, people were encouraged to submit funny videos, and those which were picked to be shown were awarded £250. However, as Harry revealed, some of them were fakes...

"You could always spot a fake and we were quite hard on them," he admitted. "They only really got in if it were short… Actually when I started doing the show, and this is true, the producer was getting married and needed the money for the wedding so was submitting clips under different names. She somehow managed to get hold of a hedgehog and make it fall off the draining board onto the sink, submitted that and got £250. It’s a national scandal!"

Harry, who also presented TV Burps from 2001 to 2012, explained why he doesn't think it will ever be back on our screens.

"Firstly no one has asked me to bring it back and I can’t just start doing it in the street!" he explained. "Also, TV has changed so much. When we did TV Burp everyone watched the same stuff - everyone watched X Factor, EastEnders, everyone knew Kat and Alfie’s story but now we all watch different stuff."
