As part of a special show for Black History Month, Hits Radio presenter Fleur East opens up a conversation about raising the next generation, sharing experiences of parenthood with other black parents in the public eye.

Chatting to Fleur, guests Oti Mabuse, Marvin Humes, Angellica Bell, JB Gill and Candice Braithwaite discuss the pressures and challenges they have faced being a parent, as well as the successes in bringing up black children in the UK. They talk about their lives growing up and what they will be passing on to their children, as well as what they choose to leave behind.

Oti Mabuse opened up to Fleur East about her husband having to face extra questions when on his own with their child

They also pass on thoughts about what makes the perfect ally to the Black Community and what we can do to help in raising the next generation.

Talking about the show Fleur East said: "This is an important conversation for people within the black community, people outside of the community, parents, children and anyone who is a part of a family."
