Two people bailed after "unexplained" death in Burton-on-Trent

Two people arrested after an "unexplained" death in Burton-on-Trent have been released on bail.

It's after emergency services were called to Hazel Crescent in Branston at 4.45am on Sunday after a man in his 40s was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a new update, police say specially-trained officers are continuing to support his family.

They've also confirmed a 52-year-old man, and a 46-year-oldwoman- from Burton-on-Trent have now been conditionally bailed, having initially been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and dashcam, and want anyone who has any information to call 101 quoting incident 161 of 4 august.
