Two more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.

Thapelo Jali was found with serious injuries in an alleyway off Buccleuch Road, Normacot, on the 22 July and died a short time later.

Five men have already been charged with the 21-year-old's murder.

In a fresh update, Staffordshire Police say two more men are being questioned in connection with his death. The 27 and 25 year old, who are from Stoke-on-Trent, remain in custody.

Detectives are still appealing for information following Thapelo's death, including anyone who might have dashcam footage. They have set up a dedicated May Incident Public Portal, which can be accessed here.
