Fresh flood warnings have been issued for parts of the North West already hit by torrential downpours, as the region braces for more snow.
The Met Office extended yellow weather warnings for snow and ice until midday on Monday (January 06).
It came as the Environment Agency issued flood warnings along the River Mersey, near Bramhall, Stockport, Altrincham, Sale and Urmston.
Flood warnings were also put in place along the River Bollin, at Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Bollington.

In a statement, the airport said teams are "working hard" to reopen them.
Lorry stranded on M62
Part of the M62 was shut near to Denshaw at around 05:00GMT on Monday because of a stranded lorry.
National Highways has since confirmed the motorway has reopened.
Runways have since reopened.
Merseyrail services suspended following flooding on Chester line
Merseyrail has confirmed services have been suspended between Hooton and Capenhurst this morning, because of flooding.
Replacement bus services are in operation.
